We come to you!
Johanna McDonald, LLC is committed to providing services in the client’s natural environment. This means in locations such as: home, school, daycare, and community settings. Once we gather information on the location for services and specific scheduling needs, we assign a therapy team. Clients and therapists work together to create a schedule that best suits the needs of the client. We do not offer clinic-based services.
Caregiver training is a priority at Johanna McDonald LLC. Our goal is to enable the caregivers to apply behavioral interventions beyond 1:1 ABA sessions. Caregiver training is crucial for maintaining ongoing success.
Our therapists are board certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Therapy teams consist of one or more of the following:
BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) – All therapy teams are led by BCBAs. A BCBA is a master or doctoral level behavior analyst responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of behavior plan procedures
BCaBAs (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts) – A BCaBA is certified at the Bachelor level. They are responsible for many of the same tasks as BCBAs, but do require BCBA oversight.
RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) – RBTs are technician level therapists trained on the behavior plan procedures. They implement the plan with the client and also provide some caregiver training. They collect data as well. They are required to be supervised by a BCBA or BCaBA.
